Nymphaea thermarum - Conservation Status: Critically Endangered

The pygmy water-lily (Nymphaea thermarum), is the world’s smallest water-lily. Endemic to Rwanda, once thought extinct in the wild a population was rediscovered in 2023. Conservation efforts are now helping to secure its survival.
