Native Tui

Native Tui (Māori: tūī)

The Tui is native to New Zealand and is know for its  complex variety of songs and calls.  It also has a distinctive  small tuft of white feathers at its neck.

Artwork was painted from a Tui image taken in Queenstown by local photographer Alison Metherell.
